SAVE THE DATE: RMU’s 4th Annual PITT Ohio Logistics Conference

The 4th Annual Logistics Conference will feature keynote speaker Christina Cassotis, CEO of the Pittsburgh International Airport, and keynote speaker Joe Sheetz, Chairman of the Board of Sheetz.

Students are invited to attend the entire conference which will run from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm at the UPMC Events Center. For those interested in attending only the CIS and Logistics panel discussion, this session will begin at 11:00 am.

Fedeltà Solider Prisoner wins award at Dallas Movie Fest

Dr. Stephen Mancini, an Assistant Professor in the Computer and Information Systems Department, filmed an international documentary called Fedelta’ Soldier Prisoner last year.  He worked with the US Army, Franklin County Historical Society, the Regional Government of Lombardia and the Association for Italian Prisoners of War (AMPIL).  The film premiered in Chambersburg, PA as well as Milan and Rome back in September.  It has been selected to appear in film festivals in 4 different countries as well as multiple cities in the US and has recently won the best Feature Documentary Award at the Dallas MovieFest.  The film chronicles the story of 1,250 Italian Prisoners of War who were kept at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA during WW2.  You can watch the film on Amazon Prime.

Congratulations to RMU NCAE Cyber Games Team!

RMU team won the 3rd place out of 12 teams in the Northeast Regional competition for the 2025 NCAE Cyber Games sponsored by the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) on Feb 15, 2025.

9 RMU students shown below participated in the competition. Connor Quinn (front center) served as the Team Captain. Dr. Ping Wang served as the RMU Faculty Coach.

2025 Ready, Set, Go! College of Business & STEM Summit happening on Wednesday, February 12th. Sessions kick off at 9 a.m., with the last one starting at 3 p.m. The schedule lists the speakers by session, along with their companies.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable insights, career advice, and a better understanding of the skills they’ll need to succeed.
