What would I be doing for this job?

If you are a CIS major who is a night owl but also very articulate, then we have a full-time job for you!  This job requires strong verbal skills for conversing with clients through written, verbal, phone, or in person means, as well as thorough documentation of situations.

This security job also includes:

  • analyzing, identifying, and eliminating customer security alerts, events, or incidents.
  •  identifying weaknesses in customer infrastructures – suggest solutions/improvements
  • assisting in creation and maintenance of documentation for SOC procedure and processes
  • Ensuring that they are complying with Information Security Policies
  • Ensuring that all security and operational controls are followed and enforced.

Requirements:

IT Security Intern with American Eagle Outfitters

American Eagle Outfitters is looking for an IT Security Intern to work for them June to August 2018. Each intern will be assigned a project to be completed and presented by the end of the internship. A Coach and Mentor will also be assigned to help with the project.

TRAINING OVERVIEW:
• Opportunities to learn about different areas of the business including merchandising, marketing, and stores
• On-the-Job training with assignments guided by an individual Mentor
• Classroom learning
• Individual and group projects
• Roundtables with top level executives
• Bi Weekly self-evaluations to understand progress throughout program
• Pre-planned events around Pittsburgh
• Opportunity for a full time offer into the AEO – IT organization after successful completion of the 10 week internship program

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Students are eligible after they have completed their junior year; First year Master’s students are also eligible
• Information Technology degree with IT Security focus preferred
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, specifically Excel

IT Services Intern for Grant Street Group

Job Description:

As an IT Services intern, you’ll have the opportunity to problem solve user level desktop and network support issues with our team of full-time IT professionals. One minute you’ll be troubleshooting a new technology tool and the next minute you’ll be climbing a ladder and under a desk to get our equipment where it needs to be.
