Matthews International is seeking an IT Security Analyst Intern. The IT Security Analyst Intern must possess a working knowledge of Information Security Concepts. The IT Security Analyst Intern will assist with identifying and reporting all security issues, prioritizing threats, monitoring Threat intelligence feeds, and confirming threat mitigation is in accordance with company standards. They will be expected to collaborate with all business units to help respond to security alerts, phishing emails, process threat intelligence, and provide feedback on new information security technologies uses. This internship will begin on May 20th 2024 and will finish in August.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Security Analyst will assist and execute:

• Threat hunting and reporting
• Endpoint Security product administration and maintenance.
• Responding to and working tickets in the Security Queue.
• IT Security Email Inbox Management
• Vulnerability scanning and remediation plans/goals.
• Assist with generating reports and security management analytics.
• Security Awareness Training Program Management
• Other items as deemed necessary by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•    Current enrollment and pursuing a BA or BS degree in a computer-related field.
