Spring into Success

RMU Tutoring for Fall 2024

The RMU Tutoring Center for Fall 2024 now offers tutoring services in Master’s level Data Analytics and Cybersecurity.

The tutoring sessions are held at the Tutoring Center located in Nicholson 415 at the top of the Rotunda.

Koushik Reddy Donthireddy provides tutoring for courses INFS-6010, INFS-6040, INFS-6240, INFS-6510, INFS-6720, INFS-6460, and CYMS-6210. His available times are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Nikil Krishna Settipalli offers tutoring for courses INFS-6010, INFS-6240, INFS-6510, INFS-6630, INFS-6720, and CYMS-6210. His available times are Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:45 am to 1:15 pm.

Dr. Parul Yadav to present on Cybersecurity and AI Implications

Dr. Parul Yadav, RMU’s Spring 2024 Rooney Scholar, will be presenting on Cybersecurity and AI Implications in the Wheatley Atrium on Wednesday, February 28th from 4:30-5:30pm. Students will receive 1 hour of SET credit. Pizza will be served.

Professor Matt Rosenberg Recognized as a Top-Ranked Mobile Device Forensic Examiner in the Country

Matt Rosenberg, an Allegheny County Mobile Device Forensic Examiner ranked second out of nearly 4,000 digital forensic examiners in the United States. The U.S. Secret Service’s National Computer Forensics Institute recognized the top digital forensic examiners and Allegheny County’s Matt Rosenberg rose to the top. This ranking took into consideration an investigator’s ability to extract data in three areas: mobile devices, digital media, and hard drives.

In addition to his full-time job as an Allegheny County Mobile Device Forensic Examiner, Professor Rosenberg also teaches part-time at RMU, instructing students in several courses including Intro to Digital Forensics, Fundamentals of Cyber Forensics, and Mobile Forensics. Congratulations, Professor Rosenberg, on this prestigious ranking!

Fortune Magazine Ranked RMU in Best Online Master’s Programs in Cybersecurity

Fortune magazine ranks RMU 8th out of 20 universities in its inaugural Best Online Master’s Programs in Cybersecurity. The ranking is based on the average undergraduate GPA of its enrolled students; acceptance, retention, and graduation rates; and the size of the most recent graduating class.
