Honors from National Science Foundation (NSF) for RMU NSF SFS Grant

NSF leadership highlighted and commended RMU for the SFS (Scholarship for Service) grant accomplishments and student success at the opening ceremony of the annual NSF SFS grant PI meetings and student job fair in Washington DC during January 7-9, 2025.

The National Cyber League (NCL) Commissioner has formally commended the following RMU NCL faculty coach and students for placing #69 nationally in the Cyber Power Rankings among over 9,260 students from 550 colleges and universities in the NCL Fall 2024 Season.

May 2025 FLEAP Opportunity: Study in Ireland and Scotland

If you are wanting to travel abroad while earning credits, CIS is offering a 3-credit FLEAP course called INFS 3100 Global Perspectives of Information Technology, taught by Dr. Karen Paullet. Last year students studied in Portugal and Spain. This year, the class will travel to Ireland and Scotland. Students who are accepted into the program will enroll in the course in the 2nd 8 weeks of the spring 2025 semester, and then will complete the travel portion of the class in May 2025.  Applications are being accepted until December 2nd.
