TSC Buffalo Wild Wings Night – Tuesday, October 16

The Top Secret Colonials are hosting an event at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday, October 16th, from 4PM until close. During this time, Buffalo Wild Wings will automatically donate 10% of all net sales to the Top Secret Colonials. Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 480 Home Drive in Robinson. PNC STEAM Summit & Hackathon – Deadline to Apply is Tomorrow

PNC is hosting its first ever STEAM Summit and Hackathon on November 15 and 16. The 2-day event will allow individuals to participate in a hackathon alongside other college students, hear from PNC Technology & Innovation Leadership and be paired with a PNC mentor as they continue their college journey.

Qualifications
• 3.0 GPA or higher in a STEAM-Related Major
• Interest in the Financial Services Industry

Application Process
To be considered for this event, students will need to submit their resume and
a short essay (up to 350 words) responding to the following:
Innovation is critical to understanding our client’s needs, protecting their
interests and driving their success forward. In your personal experience,
tell us about a technology solution you’ve recently created or updated to
best meet the needs of others. What do you hope to get out of attending this

TSC Blaze Pizza Fundraiser

Top Secret Colonials (TSC) will be hosting a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza this Thursday, September 20th from 5:00-9:00 pm. If you bring in the attached flyer, Blaze Pizza will donate 20% of all proceeds back to TSC. Come out for some great pizza and support a good cause!

Hire UP Technology Job Fair

Hire UP is hosting a technology recruiting event for students studying IT, computer science, business, engineering, and traditional sciences. The event is open to all students and job seekers. There will also be two new features to this year’s job fair: a workshop entitled “LinkedIn and Your Career” and a professional photographer taking headshots.

Highmark Health Systems Presentation, Wednesday, October 3rd

Highmark Health Systems will be giving a presentation on October 3, 2018.  The company is seeking to fill internship positions and entry-level full-time positions and are interested in speaking with all undergraduate and graduate computing majors.

Wombat Security Technologies Presentation – Monday, April 16th

Top Secret Colonials is sponsoring the Wombat Security Technologies Presentation on Monday, April 16th. The presentation will take place from 4:30PM to 5:30PM in the Wheatley Atrium.

This presentation will focus on the products Wombat delivers to its customers. During the presentation, Sean Ehrman and Jake Pancari will simulate a mock-phishing attack and demonstrate the training modules customers would go through should they fall for said-attack. They will also discuss the dangers of social engineering while reviewing a real case study before ending in a Q&A segment.

Wombat Security is a cyber security company whose goal is to deliver software-based cyber awareness and training to help employees understand the risks associated with improper cyber practices and subsequently correct their behavior to strength an organization’s overall security environment.

DHS Cybersecurity Jobs and Internships Webinar

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be hosting the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) Cybersecurity Webinar. The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29.

The webinar will be for college and university students and recent graduates interested in pursuing a cybersecurity career at NPPD. This webinar will feature a panel of NPPD employees who will share their experiences in cybersecurity and career paths at NPPD. In addition, human resource officials will explain the federal application process and highlight NPPD career pathways for students and recent graduates.
