Two CIS faculty members received promotions this year. Dr. Ping Wang was promoted to the rank of University Professor. Dr. Karen Paullet was promoted to the rank of Professor.

In addition, Dr. Ping Wang has been recognized as an ABET Expert by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. This recognition is given after a highly selective process of performance appraisals.
