Heeter Printing Company is seeking an IT Technical Support Intern.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Assisting staff personnel with but not limited to:

• Troubleshooting PC and Mac hardware issues
• Conducting software updates and resolving errors
• Troubleshooting printer errors
• Password resets
• Network connectivity issues
• Maintaining the VoIP system and phone issues

Assisting IT Infrastructure team with but not limited to:

• Active Directory user creation
• Distribution group creation
• Minor server troubleshooting
• Managing email server tasks, such as mailbox creation and user management
• Maintaining software licensing
• Maintaining vendor service agreements
• Operating system updates
• Information technology documentation both creation and maintaining

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Knowledge of basic networking
LAN, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, understanding of firewalls
Experience with Office 365 administration
Experience working with Windows server 2012 and 2012 R2
Including Active Directory, file server roles, etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and replacing PC and Mac hardware
Excellent written and verbal communication
Flexible, team player, “get it done” personality
Ability to organize and plan work independently
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to multitask and context switch effectively between different activities and teams

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS THAT ARE A PLUS
Knowledge of advanced networking
Cisco certifications, knowledge of VLANs, advanced networking experience, and other networking certifications
Experience with vCenter 6 and ESXi 6.5
Knowledge and experience with Debian and Red Hat Linux Distributions

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical or College degree preferred

MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1-2 years
