What we are looking for!
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution and no more than 1 year of relevant work experience from the time of degree
- Familiar one or more -Java, C++, Python, Ruby on Rails
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and roles within each phase
- Hands on software development experience in an internship or school project capacity
- Basic understanding of programming and scripting languages
To qualify – You Must:
- Be a US Citizen
- Have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Must have or be able to obtain a Security+ Certification within 60 days of employment

Cybersecurity Awareness Month – Cybersecurity Tip #12
12 Hour Gaming Charity Marathon
The Top Secret Colonials will be holding a 12-hour gaming charity marathon on Saturday, October 24th from 10am-10pm.
The details:
- A $10 donation is required to attend.
- The event is primarily bring-your-own equipment (monitors, TVs, laptops, desktops, games, controllers, etc.).
- Power and Ethernet capabilities will be provided.
- There will be some party game stations set up (Smash Bros, Rock Band, and Mario Kart).
- Light refreshments will be served.

SANS CyberTalent Immersion Academy for Women
NCWIT Academic Alliance member students are encouraged to apply to the SANS CyberTalent Immersion Academy for Women. This is a great opportunity for RMU students since we are now members of NCWIT.
The SANS Institute is presenting the SANS CyberTalent Immersion Academy for Women to encourage women to enter the cybersecurity industry. Academy participants receive intensive, accelerated training and certifications to quickly and effectively launch careers in cybersecurity.
The SANS Institute is offering free SANS courses for female junior and senior college students and recent graduates; this is worth over $20,000.
